Two people, one list
Version 1.3 is on the App Store. Its biggest piece is one you cannot see in a task list: it is no longer only yours. A project can be shared — and whoever opens it sees the same board you do, in the same second.
Share projects
Menu top right › Share, invitation by message. Whoever accepts sees and edits the same project; changes travel through iCloud, attachments come along. The shopping list for two, the moving project for four.
Read-only
When inviting, you can choose “Read only”. The project is then genuinely read-only for the guest: no completing, no editing, no moving. That sounds like a detail, but it was the harder half — because the app has to say so itself instead of letting iCloud reject the change. A button that does nothing is worse than no button.
Speak it
There is now a microphone next to the title in the entry sheet. What you say becomes text on your device — nothing leaves it. With Hobba Pro and Apple Intelligence one sentence splits into several tasks: “call the dentist tomorrow and the tax return on Friday” becomes two, each with its date.
Let it sort
The ••• menu of the Inbox offers “Suggest sorting”. Apple Intelligence proposes a project per task — only what you tap is applied. No automation tidying up behind your back.
Tags and context lists
A tag on a project or a task, say @work — and everything
with that tag sits in its own list in the overview. The catalogue travels
to all your devices through iCloud.
And one request
If you use the Reminders inbox, please open Settings once. Until now Hobba picked a list itself when none was called “Hobba” — usually the default one. Since the inbox empties the list it watches, that went too far. So Hobba lets go of it once: Settings › Reminders, pick the list, and it works as before.
