The beta is open
Why another to-do app? Because none was quite the one I wanted. The public TestFlight beta of Hobba is now live — with everything in it.
What I was missing
I like to-do apps that clear your head instead of filling it: inbox, today, upcoming — done. But something always got in the way. One wants a subscription for things no subscription can justify. Another wants an account on somebody else's servers. And almost none can do what I constantly need in projects: flip the list into a kanban board — same data, different view.
So I built Hobba. No account, no subscription, no tracking. Your tasks live on your device and, if you want, in your own private iCloud — nowhere else. You buy it once, then never again.
What's in the beta
- The four lists: Inbox, Today, Upcoming, Someday — with reminders, repeats, tags and subtasks.
- Projects with sections, and every project as a kanban board if you want it.
- iPhone, iPad with a sidebar, a real Mac app, and a standalone Apple Watch app with a complication.
- Widgets, Siri & Shortcuts, import from Apple Reminders, German and English.
All Pro features can be unlocked for free in the beta — I want you to test all of it, not half of it.
What helps me
Honest first impressions. Where does a gesture fight you? What did you look for and not find? What feels like too much, what like too little? Feedback goes straight out of TestFlight or by mail to hobba@rinn-home.de — I read everything, and most of it lands in a build surprisingly fast.
The beta runs on TestFlight on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Free, with all Pro features unlockable inside.
